Challenged YA Books at CHS Library
At Cleveland Charter High School Library, banned and challenged books are identified by a yellow sticker that says "Banned" on the spine of the book. Students are encouraged to browse the collection in search of such titles. These explorations foster curiosity and discussion, prompting students to question the reasons why books are banned and challenged and why we should be diligent in fighting for our right to read what we want.
